i saw this on the news this morning! i felt bad for the squirrel and said awww. i also giggled a little. but everyone on the show was dying of laughter. HOW RUDE. but it was funny....
So NOT funny. Not even a little bit. Just pissed me off that the stupid photographer stood there videotaping instead of helping. Yeah, he eventually did, but to stand there recording a creature that's obviously terrified is ignorant.
you people who didn't laugh...I get so tired of those of you self-righteous prigs who get offended for other people or in this case ANIMALS. I'm sure the little rat has "psychological" scarring because the guy didn't help him. This is how animals learn and how natural selection weeds out animals with poor decision making capabilities. If the guy really, truly was a nature lover like you people make a pretense to be, he would not have interfered and let nature take it's course. The squirrel needs to adapt to an environment filled with human contraptions and trash, or die. From the number of squirrels I see every day, I would say the squirrels already have the upper hand.
Do you think you have a cute photo or video for this site, or did you find a cute animal story on the web? Feel free to send it to us. We love to hear from you!
