This beautiful baby elephant was born quite unexpected this morning at Emmen Zoo, the Netherlands, in front of the audience. It was known that the mother, Mingalar Oo, was pregnant, but there was nog sign that she would give birth any soon. The newborn baby boy is completely healthy, but doesn't have a name yet.

**whispers** No one seen it but a night worker heard a thud and went to see what was happening, and hey presto an extra elephant.
The little elephant is getting a lot of attention from the visitors, including me!!!
Wow, that is an amazing moments. I wish I can see the same moment, sometimes... :)
So cute, wish I was there when it happened.
